China has become my most favorite destination for I have traveled to China every year since 2004 and many more places I want to visit in the near future. My latest journey was to Guilin, this small but beautiful city is one of the most famous tourist spots in China that many famous leaders such as former US President, Bill Clinton, has already visited and witnessed its beauty.

Guilin is located in Guangxi State, South of China, as known as, “City of Beautiful Mountain, River and Cave.

Longji Terraced Fields, located on high mountain with highest spot of terraces at 1,180 meters above sea level covering the area of 71.6 sq.km., this, so called “The Uniqueness under Heaven, is considered one of the biggest terraces in the world.
The two main scenic views are “Jinkeng Terraced Fields and “Ping’an Terraced Fields. The wonderful terraces have beautiful names caused by their formation shapes such as “Seven Stars Accompanying Moon or “Nine Dragons and Five Tigers.
Along side of these “ladder to heaven walkways, there are Yao and Zhuang villages where people there,living from generation to generation for several hundred years.

Lijiang River, is well known not only for Chinese tourists but tourists from all over the world have been visited here. The cruise trip along the river is the idea of getting the whole beautiful river and mountain combination views. With hundreds of small hills standing next to each others creating amazing layers that looks like a large painting.

Reed Flute Cave, named after man lived inside the cave made flute out of reed that grew in front of the entrance. This 200 meter-long cave is full of spectacular stalactites in various sizes and shapes formations. One big room inside the cave looks like a large living room with an amazing view of beautiful water reflection of the stalactite roof. Sightseeing inside the cave allows you to give your free imaginations of what you see.
